Due to the low budget and importance of the event being accessible to those of any income, Sunken Sofa's policy for events is "Nobody turned away for lack of funds". This works into Sunken Sofa as a not-for-profit organisation, as a non-profit event I have decided that the best way forward for any profits should be a donation to Oxfam's Humanitarian Support Fund for Ukraine, as it is an important and relevant cause.
Alongside the benefits of charity donation - in case of profits for the event, it would not be worthwhile splitting profits 7 ways (between myself, the four panellists, and the two artists). However I will provide a rider of Beer and Cider cans and bottled water on the night as a small token of my appreciation towards the volunteers, panellists and artists.
